We know how important it is that you enjoy the meals we provide and that they are healthy, nutritious, balanced and appetising. That’s why our Kitchen Manager works with local suppliers to obtain the best local produce and ingredients whenever possible. Our skilled team of chefs prepare fresh, quality home-cooked meals that are served in our comfortable dining rooms, where staff are always on hand to assist you, should you need it.
Resident’s requirements can differ and our Kitchen Team is trained to support specific needs and diets, including; Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Fortified diets, Soft diets and Diabetic diets.
WE INVOLVE YOU AT EVERY STEP
Our menus are created with input from our residents and a member of the catering team is always available to listen to your suggestions and feedback. You are always welcome to attend dining committee meetings to review your “dining experience” and let us know what you think, because “we are only as good as our last meal served”.
We will discuss your dietary needs with you during your pre-assessment meeting, which will be recorded in your care plan. Our Kitchen Manager will also come and meet you when you move in to discuss your needs and preferences with you.

Along with fresh, quality home-cooked meals, staying hydrated throughout the day is vital to a balanced and healthy body and mind. Hot and cold drinks are always available, and drinking water in your room is refreshed regularly .
There is always the option to enjoy a glass of wine if you like, to liven up your meal. We make mealtimes fun as well – our Lifestyle Manager works closely with our Kitchen Manager and staff to organise events throughout the year, ranging from pop-up restaurants, themed nights, special occasions such as Christmas and Easter and, of course, we love to celebrate a birthday. We actively encourage family relatives and friends to join in the fun, no matter how big or small. If you enjoy cooking, just let us know and you can join us in the kitchen.
