Oakdale Care Group Strides Forward with Strategic Appointments
Oakdale Care Group has made two strategic appointments in readiness of their imminent expansion plans. The group opened Kingfisher Court in Sutton-in-Ashfield earlier this year and is due to open two new homes in the next six months, all being built by specialist care developer, LNT Care Developments.
Rachel Cadd has been appointed as Home Manager for Timken Grange in Duston, Northampton, which will open in January 2018. Rachel has a wealth of experience in the care sector, holding positions at Olympus Care Services, Northampton County Council and Greensleeves where she was proud to lead the home to an overall ‘Good’ CQC standard.
Ann-Marie Baker will be joining the Head Office team as Group Admissions Manager with her key responsibility being to develop a first-class customer service journey tailored to each individual enquiry and resident. Ann-Marie has moved to Oakdale from a similar position at Gracewell Care.
Commenting on the appointments, Oakdale Co-Founder and CEO, Andrew Long said, “Rachel and Ann-Marie embody the ethos and cultural values we are looking for at Oakdale: they are hardworking, passionate and highly professional individuals who have the residents’ interest first and foremost. They reflect Oakdale’s forward thinking approach and attention to individual care. We are delighted to have them both join us at this key stage in our development, with two more care homes to open in the next 6 months at Northampton and Hertford.”
Co-Founder and Director, Chris Babington remarked, “Our first care home, Kingfisher Court at Sutton-in-Ashfield is exceeding our planned expectations and is proving that our business model based on an all-inclusive fee structure and paying all staff on a salary is working extremely well.”
Timken Grange in Duston is due to open in January 2018 with Layston Grove in Buntingford shortly after. Oakdale Care Group has a strong care service, accommodation and lifestyle offer backed by an inclusive price promise that means services normally charged extra by other care homes such as hairdressing, cinema, chiropody, newspapers, activities and trips out are fully included in the fee. The transparent single fee means there are no hidden charges or additional costs to allow for, providing clarity and peace of mind.
