Tuesday 28th November, 2017. Rachel Cadd and her team were kept busy meeting and assessing potential candidates for a variety of positions at our new home which is due to open in January. To date, we have received almost 700 applicants wishing to join us at Timken Grange and yesterday’s assessment was another step forward in reaching our goal of securing the very best individuals. Rachel said: “we are looking for individuals who are passionate about the care they provide and pride themselves on building unique, trusting relationships with the residents in their care. ”
The assessments took place at the infamous Sixfield’s stadium – home to Northampton Town Football Club. Rachel added: “being a local and true Northamptonian I was keen to build on and maintain the local influence and the Cobbler’s home ground was the perfect setting. It is within walking distance of Timken Grange which I also felt was appropriate and we were immensely pleased with the facilities and services. I hope our relationship with the home ground and the local community continues to flourish.”
Work will continue securing the right candidates to help us deliver the highest standards of care that we believe sets us apart from other care homes. Our commitment to delivering these exceptionally high standards of care is underpinned by providing salaries rather than hourly rates and an increased staff-to-resident ratio than other care homes.
